The Pas Music and Fine Arts Festival is a non-profit organization run by community volunteers. Our mission is to promote the Arts and encourage development in the Arts, particularly in our youth. Performances are adjudicated and can be competitive or non-competitive.
We include the following disciplines:
Band
Dance
Fiddle
Piano
Recorder
Speech Arts in English and French
Vocal
The Festival usually takes place during March and April, with registration taking place in late January, or early February. There is a Grand Concert at the end of the festival during which the recipients of the Awards and Scholarships are announced.
The Pas Arts Festival receives generous donations from the local community and businesses, which are gratefully accepted. Scholarships and Awards are also funded by individuals in the community, and local businesses. We run a fundraising drive the Fall of the year preceding the Festival to help reduce costs of registration.
